The WVFDCOA will be hosting a Certified Crematory Operators Course on February 2, 2022 at the WV Funeral Directors and Crematory Operators Association’s office conference room. This class will be from 8am to 5pm. Lunch will be included and participants will meet the 8-hour minimum of classroom instruction to obtain their certification.

This class will address all areas of the cremation process and at the conclusion of the class, attendees will be given a link to take the certification exam within 10 business days. This class is required for anyone wishing to be a crematory operator. The National Funeral Directors Association’s Mike Nicodemus will be presenting this course.

The cost for the class is $525 for WVFDCOA/NFDA members (the Associations will offset the member cost difference), Non-member cost is $695, Non- Funeral Directors $525, and student cost is $160.
